Eczema Home Remedies
Eczema is the condition when skin becomes dry and itchy and skin looks red and scaly. Little bumps could also appear on the skin and makes one feel rough. Whatever the cause behind this, it is better to treat them.
Easy and economical home remedies are there considered to have better result. Opt for them:–
Take some preventive measures. Avoid using strong cleansing agents, harsh soaps, face wash and other beauty products. Keep the skin clean and moisturized.
Drink plenty of water and juice to hydrate the body and flushing out the toxins. Balanced diet and enough water are absolute for healthy skin and body.
Grind nuts and make a fine paste. Mix some oil and apply it on the skin. Scrub with it for few minutes and wash it off. Any nuts are good for skin. Walnut is most common among them. It softens the skin and useful in treating fungal infections, warts, eczema and psoriasis.
Making scrub out of oatmeal is the simplest method. Grind some oats or get some oat meals with water and use it for scrubbing the face. It contains beta-glucan, a kind of cellulose found in plants which allows the skin to retain its moisture by reducing the dryness of the skin and very much useful in treating eczema. Take out the fresh gel from aloe vera plant or one can buy the gel from pharmacy.
Mix few drops of chamomile and witch hazel and apply it on the skin. Both have anti-inflammatory properties which help in reducing itching, soaring and pain. Together, both can treat number of problems.
Prepare a lotion made out of crushed dandelion leaves and mint leaves along with coconut oil. Apply it on the skin and leave it for around half an hour then wash with cold water. The anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties of dandelion prevent many skin infections to take place and also help in healing.
After a warm shower apply cold pressed extra virgin oil. It is an excellent moisturizer rich in vitamin E.
Massaging the skin with virgin coconut oil are said to have miracle effect in treating the skin problems.
Sea salt is great for curing skin problems. Sea salt has minerals which help in hydrating the skin tissues and also calms down the inflammation and reduces pain. Mix it in bathing tub. Mix two cups of salt into the tub and take bath.
Enough sleep is vital to immune system to work optimally. Exercise regularly. Have balanced diet.
