Home Remedies for Thick hair

Thick hair is an inherited quality which passes on to one generation to another. But the interference of dust, pollution and hectic lifestyle are causing thinning of hair. However, care and patience can make your dream true to have thick and shiny hair.

Following are given some home remedies using which can help in thickening your hair:–

Go for a haircut which gives your hair a voluminous look. Trim your hair after every four weeks to keep your hair healthy and strong.

Massage the scalp once in a week to increase the blood circulation. Massaging with olive oil can give better results. Leave it overnight and wash it off with a mild shampoo.

Keep brushing your hair to increase the blood circulation and maintain shine.

Aloe vera gel is highly beneficial in treating any kind of hair or skin problem. Rub the fresh aloe vera gel on the scalp or mix it with an egg. Repeat this after 15 days.

Mix aloe vera with almond oil and massage it on hair and scalp. Leave it for some time and then rinse well.

Consuming aloe vera juice in the empty stomach also has very good results for overall health development.

A warm coconut oil massage is highly beneficial for thickening and shining of the hair.

Soak the flax seeds in water and leave it for few days. Take a cotton ball and dip it into the solution. Apply it directly on the scalp.

Mix water and a tablespoon of white vinegar. Add this solution to the scalp to add volume to the hair.

Soak fenugreek seeds in water and leave it overnight. Make a fine paste of it. Apply it on the scalp for thickening of the hair.

Add powdery fenugreek seeds to the henna powder and soak it with the help of water. Leave it overnight. Beat one egg and squeeze out the juice of one lemon in this paste in the morning and apply it on hair. Leave this hair mask for three hours and wash it off with cold water. Rinse it with shampoo next day for better results after oiling.

Mix olive oil with honey. Apply it on the scalp and wash it off after half an hour.

Have a healthy and balanced diet. Include egg, milk, nuts, yeast, soy flour, raw oysters and such foods in the diet. Vitamin B is much effective for thick and strong hair.

Never comb wet hair. It will reduce breaking of hair.
