Kidney Stone Home Remedies

 

Kidney helps in detoxifying and filtering out the impurities from blood and waste products in urine and hence plays a great role in keeping the body in normal state. Stone occurs when kidney fails to work efficiently and unprocessed minerals formed causing blockage of the flow of urine.

 

Following are the home remedies to avoid kidney stone up to many extents:–

 

Increase the number of glass of water or fluid intake. A minimum of 10 glass of water is advised but go beyond this and drink as much as you can to keep your body clean. But do consult your doctor regarding this.

 

Ask your doctor about measuring device for urine output and keep a track on it. Measure your urine output and accordingly increase or decrease the intake of fluid or water.

 

Eat lots of fruits and vegetables rich in vitamins, minerals and other nutrients necessary for the body. But before selecting your everyday fruits and vitamins consult the experts.

 

Vitamin C is considered to be the probable problem for the formation of kidney stone, due to which body began converting this vitamin into oxalate. Avoid taking vitamin C in the form of supplements.

 

Avoid meat as much as possible. Protein present in animal flesh may accelerate the formation of uric and also the calcium in the urine. It may result in the formation of stone in the kidney.

 

Avoid processes food and cut down the consumption of alcohol and soda.

 

Prepare one teaspoon of honey with the juice of basil leaves. If followed religiously for six months, it will surely cure the stone.

 

Try pomegranate and watermelon.

 

During pain, the mixture of one teaspoon of olive oil and one teaspoon lemon juice along with water can provide immediate relief to the person.

 

The intake of 500 mg of organic dandelion root can cure the disease permanently as it is said have kidney tonic and cleanser properties.

 

Limit the intake of foods rich in calcium such as milk, cheese, butter and other dairy products.

 

Restrict yourself for foods rich in oxalate such as beans, beets, blueberries, celery, chocolate, grapes, green peppers, parsley, spinach, strawberries and tea.

 

Also, reduce the intake of table salt, pickles and snack chips.

 

Increase the intake of vitamin A such as broccoli, cantaloupes, pumpkins etc.

 

Boil two figs in a cup of water and have it in the empty stomach for one month and get rid of kidney stone.

 

Tomato juice having a pinch a salt and pepper is also effective remedy.
