Stretch Marks Home Remedies
The stretching of skin to its maximum extent which results in breakdown of elastic fibers and collagen and the middle layer of the tissue becomes visible in the outer layer of the skin. This is known as stretch marks.
People at any age develop stretch marks. The main reasons are weight gain or loss, during or after pregnancy, stress or it may be genetic too. Deficiency of minerals and vitamins can also lead to this problem. Home remedy is the safest option for treating this.

Warm olive oil helps in improving the blood circulation and hence reduces the stretch marks. Gently massage the affected areas with it.
Opt for any oil such as avocado, almond or jojoba and mix it with few drops of lavender and chamomile. Apply it on affected areas. This is considered to be the best remedy for treating stretch marks.
The medicinal properties of calendula oil helps to a greater extent in minimizing the stretch marks. The aromatic herbal quality of lavender oil, castor oil, flaxseed oil and cod liver oil also helps in dealing with the problem.
Massage the skin with cocoa butter and see the wonderful effect.
Mix almond oil, lavender oil and chamomile oil and massage the skin. Continue it for a week and get the desired result.
Mix half cup of Virgin olive oil with ¼ cup of aloe vera gel and liquids from six capsules of vitamin E and A each. Apply the mixture on the affected areas as well as the areas where stretch marks commonly occurs. Rest of the mixture can be stored in refrigerator for later use.
For regular use, mix one tablespoon of wheat germ oil along with one tablespoon of calendula oil. Apply it on the regular basis to avoid stretch marks.
Drink plenty of water. Dehydrated body are easily targeted by stretch marks. Maintain good level of water. Hydrated body detoxifies the body and restores elasticity which results in reducing the stretch marks.
Nutritious diet is essential to a healthy body. Increase the intake of vitamins A, C and E in the diet in the form of fresh vegetables, almonds, fish and eggs to get clean and clear skin.
Exercise regularly. It tones the body and helps in tightening the skin as well as promotes the elasticity.
