Ramdev Baba’s Yoga for weight loss

Weight loss in today’s day and age has become a persistent problem, especially since we are living in a society that gives a lot of importance to the physical. For us the outer appearance is as important as the inner, if not more. And not just that for many those extra ounces of weight can be very harmful.

 

Ramdev Baba has many remedies up his sleeve with which we can successfully reduce our body fat and stay fit. The most recommended of all the asanas for effective weight loss is cycling while lying down.

For this one has to lie down on the ground or a bed and start moving your legs as if you were cycling. Do this for over 50 times and take a break every now and the so that you do not over exert yourself. Repeat the cycling process in the opposite direction. Do these 50 times as well and take breaks when necessary. Once those are over move your legs up and down one at a time and then repeat the same thing with both the legs going up and down together.

This completes one of Ramdev Baba’s yoga exercises for weight loss. The benefits of this pose and these set of exercises are manifold. While there is the weight loss, people with weak and aching legs will be able to build some muscles and hence make their legs stronger. You belly will flatten up. This is also very good for people who want to burn the fats in their thighs and the posterior area.

Like a pro maestro, Baba Ramdev also suggests the right diet for people who are suffering from obesity and want to get in shape. Like all other diet regimens Baba Ramdev’s regimen also works on certain do’s and don’t’s.

  • Stay away from sugar and aerated drinks like coke, pepsi etc. Rather drink lemon juice with less or no sugar.
  • Do not eat too much salt as well since it soaks in too much water in the body.
  • Stay away from hawker joints and all kinds of fried food.
  • Star your meal with salads since it will fill your stomach and you will then be able to eat less of the main course without necessarily starving yourself.
